Natalie Chan is an independent, and very talented New Zealand fashion designer who owns an amazing dreamy boutique in Parnell, Auckland. I was pretty stoked to get invited along to Natalie Chan's VIP party hosted at the Black Door Art Gallery in Parnell, which included all the pieces from her new range of amazing headwear and accessories - inspired by Salvidor Dali, and a bunch of famous people I didn't know. I photographed her new collection below, and some of the photobooth guest photos are here too.
Natalie also had three models demonstrating the outfits, complete from head to toe in Natalie Chan couture. Each ensemble encompassed a different facet of the brand, and that is something I admire so very much about this designer. Her ability to encompass delicate pensive moments in her pieces, cheeky and cute elements, and also strong vibrancy within her designs is why I adore her work.
The sponsored Champagne was pretty awesome, as was the catering by "Little Red" a definite must have for any event. Pictures of all the delectable edibles feature below...
