Veronica B has recently teamed up with The Chandler to create this gorgeous set of scented fashion candles! There is a beautiful array of colours to choose from, a total of eight equally tempting choices. The sophisticated deep blue is my favourite.

PIA NZFW 2014 S/S

I was so excited to see this show, PIA boutique is the next big thing in New Zealand fashion and I adore the effortless simplicity in the designs, always with movement and beautiful fabrics. Bold cuts and buzzing prints were throughout the collection, and striking white eyes with pale lips. The collection moved through black and white, aquamarine and muted pastel pinks. The NZ made leather bags are my favourite element of the collection. One more thing for the Christmas wish list!

Le Blanc

Change can be good, in this case the studio was perfect for all the rainy weather we have been having in Auckland! These images were captured in Photographer Mark Leedom's Studio, captured by Dani Lawrence. Deb Tremayne, the very talented makeup artist and hair stylist from 'The Glitter Fix' who did both my hair and makeup for this shoot, with the most gorgeous French roll. This look is part sixties-esque and part minimalist-chic. Simple is best, and in this case better.

NZFW Amber Whitecliffe S/S 2014

I was pretty excited to see this, and of all the new generation designers Amber Whitecliffe made a stand out performance. With an elegant cohesive flow to her collection, her pieces were both classically upbeat and elegantly fun. To sum it up, the use of bold prints, some with a slight spanish twist gave the designs a youthful, fresh feel. In particular the two piece floral set and echoing summer dress in the same fabric. These were some of my favourites. Eloquently done were also the accessories, adding to this fresh summer bouquet with red flowers in the models' hair, and gorgeous gold detail hoop earrings (from Veronica B). Delicate craftsmanship was displayed by Amber Whitecliffe, such as the stunning red wrap dress, simple but unique - and all eyes on the model coming down the runway. Totally wearable, and utterly feminine. Trousers with sheer fabric overlay, added some extra imagination to the collection and a little bit of bold, with the overall impression that there is definitely a little bit of something for every girl here.

Black and glitter, black and glitter, black and glitter! There is hardly a better backdrop for metallics and shiny things than black, so here is a few of my favourite things.
